Lost international package, confusing shipping policies.

Shipping internationally is a nightmare when packages get lost; the carrier just says "not my problem." Then, trying to get help from the selling platform is a maze of confusing rules, like a package not being eligible for protection because of a missing delivery date. It's frustrating to figure out who's responsible and how to make sure my customer isn't out of pocket, especially when I'm just trying to run my small business.
